I have no doubt that screen caps of Mycroft’s office are going to come in handy in the future. I don’t know why… but they will.

OF COURSE THEY DO. The red phone is a hoot. And the prescription bottles. 

I can’t remember who posted it, but it’s my head canon: this is just one of Mycroft’s office, maybe the Tuesday one, and one of the few he can show John. 
Or perhaps he had Anthea  set this one up as a cover…I could possibly be thinking into this too much.

You cannot overthink Mycroft. And I agree, although - if he’s in the same office every Tuesday, it’s still predictable, and therefore vulnerable. I think this is the one when he’s dealing with MI6 things in this particular building - it’s probably just a standard office they had vacant and let him use. 

I do the same thing with his flats.  :)  

Yes!  In my head-canon, he’s got an assortment of offices he uses, depending on what for and the day/etc and more than one flat to crash in, again depending on what’s in the works/etc.  These screenies are very useful!  FOR PERFECTLY EXPLAINABLE REASONS.  Ahem.
